New FX pack from Arturia has just dropped. The promo vid is a bit shitty but I look forward to trying them out. I wonder if they might throw some shade on Quartet and Sweeper?
Promo video is da shit!
Ooh - Dimension D! I just want that, but it's $49 for all 3.
BOUGHT.

I just don’t need any more compressors.

The Dimension D is so good. Gonna post some examples later.
When I first tried the flanger, i immediately said to myself "this sounds sooooo 80s". Here's some info I found about it:
Designed by Bel founder and ex-Genesis guitarist Mick Barnard, and first released in the late 1970s, the original rackmount BF-20 quickly became the “flanger of choice” for many of the world’s top recording artists (Phil Collins, The Rolling Stones, YES) and prestigious recording studios (AIR Studios, RSK, Townhouse Studios, Metropolis, Miloco). The classic BF-20 Bel Flanger was used on many hits of the '80s.
Well there you go.

Some dude on Gearslutz says he only has two free Arturia products and as a result he sees the $49 cross grade price. And then another dude says if you snagged the free plate, then that is enough to get the $49 price.PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑27 Aug 2020149 here for the three...
Nevermind. I just logged in. 199 for the collection... MrFigg, help me out here! Tell me I am better off not buying

Can confirm the free plate is enough for the special price, hurricanehurricane wrote: ↑27 Aug 2020Some dude on Gearslutz says he only has two free Arturia products and as a result he sees the $49 cross grade price. Here is a short and sweet Dimension D demo. I used several mono instances of Logic's EXS24 with mono to stereo versions of Arturia's Dimension D. Dry signal first, Dimension D after. No other effects.
Intriguing. Was interested in the Intensity verb and the Eternity delay, a great flanger might push me over the edge to get the collection. A lot in there I'd never use, particularly the compressors but even so still a decent deal.
That Dimension D sounds pretty juicy to... hmm

Don’t do it Phill. You know you’ve already got all the effects you’ll ever need just sitting there in your hard drive:).PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑27 Aug 2020149 here for the three...

Envelope curves for the modulation, and the Flanger lets you draw your own curves AND save those curves for later use. Well done Arturia!
Seems to allow for fast workflow and lets you do stuff beyond normal FX's in this category.
Great additional settings that goes beyond original HW as well, they look OK to me.
Dim D sounds nice from the YouTube vids. I'll download to check out and to compare.
Artura Dim D vs. Chenille RE and NI Choral, PA bx_bluechorus (stereo config)
Arturia Bi-Tron vs ST PhaseMistress, NI Phasis, D16 Godfazer
Arturia BL-20 vs D16 Antresol, NI Flair
If the sound holds up, the $49 crossgrade is fair by all means.

Here's a short demo of the BL-20 flanger.
Mono signal, mono to stereo Flanger, dry then wet.Not even scratching the surface yet it sounds so good!

How are the Sweeper and Quartet holdup against the Arturia FX?
Since I don't have R11 I'm unable to compare myself...
