But is there need for that in Reason? I mean can it do something Reason can't?

Try Nepunte before you buy something else. And if you nee more, try them first.

f you dont need realtime, try the pitch editor in Reason.

The tuning in the sequencer, does the same thing (and more) and I did not find any benefit to use the Waves Tune LT, or Waves Tune (full version). Plus the work flow in the sequencer is much better.

You may want to look at Waves Tune Real-Time. This is like Neptune tuning but much much better. Formant in Neptune is very good, so use that one for that. Waves Tune Real-Time does not have a formant knob. It does the hard auto-tune effect quite well.
