I got the email today. I was waiting to buy Vertigo VSM-3. They put some good deals this month.
I bought:
Bax EQ $39.99
ProAudioDSP DSM V3 24.99
Maag Audio EQ4 $29.99
$104 for:
BX_Digital V3
Mpressor
BlackBox HG-2
BX-SubSynth
I am want to get Millenia NSEQ-2 but I don't know. I had spent too much money on Plugins Alliance.

For mixing and mastering, they have really good plugins. Many of those plugins are the native version of UAD-2.
A lot of their stuff is good. I'm finally going to be able to get the Millinea Opto Compressor. Missed the 29.99 deal twice thinking I didn't need it at the time. . .

I got the black box hg2. I like it. But I'm not sure about anything else there that I don't already have an equivalent for. I don't think I need mastering compressors or equalisers...
Hum...so every plugin cost 50 bucks? Its not, that all cost 50 bucks, right? Can it be combined with the survey voucher?
Edit: Ok, got the answer my self. Each plugin for 50 bucks. The survey voucher works. Goes down to 30 after vats.

Where does one get the survey voucher, Loque?

Thanks for the voucher! I got Vertigo VSM-3 and Millenia NSEQ-2 for $74.99
I don't have what one would call a "mastering" eq, so I am also going to get the NSEQ-2. GUI is so sexy. Picked up the Shadow Hills Class A in a previous sale, so this is going to be a wicked combo.

Where can one find a new voucher? It reads it can only be used once so I guess each voucher code is unique?
This voucher can be used again for each purchase. Gives you 25 bucks.PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑21 Apr 2020Where can one find a new voucher? It reads it can only be used once so I guess each voucher code is unique?

I'm eyeing their console emulations with TMT. I'm in doubt which would impart the most beneficial colour for mixing underground house and Techno styles. Probably none of them though, I imagine... Neve? SSL 4000 e? Focusrite? ♂️
Seeing as most electronic music was made without color from mixing desks but with the hardware they actually used to produce the sounds, I don’t think it matters that much. However since SSL stuff is transistor based (no expert here) it’ll give you a more neutral response since transistors don’t saturate unevenly across the frequency spectrum like tubes and transformers might. If anything they can give more edge when pushed which you might like out of techno. The others (Neve, API, etc.) really change your frequency response. How much depends on how much saturation PA puts into the plugins for each move you make. I make my statements based off working on a SSL Duality and API Vision

You really should demo that stuff. That bs talk about their pending TMT patens is marketing bs since years. And having some wonky honky donkey wobbly in their values the (so called jitter) is not "true" analog in any way. Really, try before buy, espcially from PA. There are a rare few good things, but also a lot of crap with prices i do not know if i should laugh or cry...PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020I'm eyeing their console emulations with TMT. That's what I thought. Most probably used cheap Mackie consoles which probably imparted some unique flavour... I'm looking to get a bit of an out of the box feel... I got nls quite recently, not bad, but I wonder if there are better options.
That bx Focusrite console looks very nice in my eye, I must admit. SSL, I don't know why I'm not so keen on them, honestly... I don't like using SSL buss compressor on my 2bus; I prefer multiband dynamics there... I don't know about the channel strips, but yeah, I got some "meh" feelings about SSL for my style of music. Probably a lot of people reading this will be all like "say what?" regarding this position, but hey, I'm listening, you can change my mind

You are right, but I need time to try stuff which I don't have much of... But you're right, Loque.Loque wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020You really should demo that stuff. If Loque wasn't right 500 times, he's right 1,000. Demo that stuff cause in all actuality, it don't even matter It's all gonna come down to whatever you like, looks appealing and make sound good anyways.PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020You are right, but I need time to try stuff which I don't have much of... Currently mixing again a track I mixed yesterday (now using the trial of the Focusrite)... I like it. Sounds good, fast workflow, super snappy compressor, and if you drive the plugin, it distorts nicely. I don't know whether the TMT thing is a thing that helps or whatever, but this sounds nice. I shouldn't have trialledKalm wrote: ↑22 Apr 2020If Loque wasn't right 500 times, he's right 1,000. Thing to keep in mind with Plugin Alliance is that every plugin at a certain point will be on sale for $29.99. So if there's a plugin of theirs you like and you're willing to wait, you can hold out for it to hit that price.
The current $49.99 sale is interesting, but I'm holding out for the next $29.99 sale for the Elysia Museq

But its ok with the current extra voucher, which makes most things down to the "classic" normal price at PA of 30 bucks.
