Better than buying a Rig I'd say.

That is the opposite of my experience. Barely bother loading Arturia instruments but make use of Antidote and effects from my Rig purchases all the time.
Totally. Antidote is brilliant...I bought it on the day it was released though . Had pretty bad experiences with Rig buying so my views are slightly biased.

Too bad their effects collection doesn't seem to be on sale
Too new I guess.

I've gone this far without purchasing the V7 update and I'm ok. Seeing as V8 could be right around the corner, I'm going to wait. If my calculations are somewhat correct, then we should expect V8 in or around September. Definitely this year. Yeah, I'll wait.
Exaaaaactly the reason I didn’t jump on this deal straight away.

The sale is almost over (it ends tomorrow) and the impulse to get V7 at $99 was REALLY strong, but I don't need those synths. And when V8 rolls along this year most likely, it'll feel really nice getting 6 or more synths for the same price (eventually).
Only had Analog Lab and Piano V from buying a Keylab controller some years back. I jumped on it for $199. I'm not a huge synth head though so there's nothin they can add in V8 that I feel I would be missing out on. Really just wanted to be able to tweak the presets in Analog Lab without limitation. I officially now have every synth I could ever need. Additionally, the Organs are pretty good. The keyboards (wurlie and rhodes)... meh... but I had those covered already.

I bought the collection and have no regrets.
I need the 80s samples to represent that sound, its quite impressive. Though, I will save I'm experiencing some experience issues with one project out of the 10 I've creating with the VSTs..

I got the collection in a past offer - can't remember the price, but don't think it was $99.
The synths are all great IMO. But also note there are excellent organs (B3/Vox/Farfisa) and piano/Rhodes/Wurly/Clavinet, plus a Solina string ensemble, Mellotron, and Fairlight CMI to boot!

Surprise people are buying flat out,I'm renting to own from Splice without feeling $200 hit upfront. I bought Serum too rent to own and it's paid for now I check Splice first for all vst's for rent to own. If they move to V8 I don't know how that work's for me renting v7.

I rather pay 199 flat out than pay 500 over 2 years.Goriila Texas wrote: ↑31 May 2020Surprise people are buying flat out,I'm renting to own from Splice without feeling $200 hit upfront. That's 199 euro $221 is a good price but if I get the update to v8 for free we have to add that to the $221 and it might even out. I don't feel the $24 a month though and also I paid for two Reason upgrades v11 and suite waiting for a refund. You make a good point though I'm going to check out each instrument and see if it's worth just saving and paying the sale price. I've only rented for one month and won't lose much.
