I recently discovered the work of Jerobeam Fenderson on YouTube where he creates visuals from sound using an x/y oscilloscope. Are there any free or cheap VST oscilloscopes that can be used to do this kind of thing?

I just called what comes in my mind. Just checked my "meter" section in Reason and here are a few more:
* Flux Stereo Tool
* Voxengo MSED
* Nostromo
* CoRElation Phase Analyzer
* iZotope Ozon Imager (by just not changing the parameters)

And i have a few RE wich show phase and phase cancelation (Itsy, LPM, Measure Loudness Meter, Peak Program Meter)).

I found this one, which looks cool from the standpoint of creating visual FX;

No. $29 (US I guess). But looks just the ticket though. There's a demo. I'll give it a whirl. If it's what I want I can live with $29 ;)
