I'll answer myself for anyone else wondering: YES.

This is a powerful synth, yet I fail to understand how the CPU load can be so borderline ridiculous

All the Arturia synths are pretty hungry. But then in my comparisons with Reason synths they have a ton more depth to the sounds they make. So I guess you get what you pay for with dsp.

I am curious...how do you define "depth"?
