Plugin land is absolutely begging for a great Fender spring reverb unit. It's a big hole in the market - I assume because it's very difficult to do well. U-He have had a go but it's more modular synth than surf's up.

It's doubly annoying because the spring reverb in my Fender Princeton is dead. Must get that sorted...
Softube has one - very springy. Also, free with some hw bundles. But usually not too expensive if buy it.

Disclaimer - I get 10% as well.

I feel like a bit of a shill for Audiothing at this point, but check out their "Springs" plugin - I like it a lot more than Twangstrom because it's fundamentally based more on sampled convolution than emulation.

Arturia's Plate (using the modern algo) sounds really good on drums. The space is so.... I don't even know how to describe it. It's like it's there but it's not really there, then you turn it off and it's gone, turn it back on and "ahhhh".

Holy mother of...
I just clicked on the little arrows on the top left and the GUI expanded. Filters, modulations and EQs all over the place. The day just got better :)

I'm wary about freebies from Arturia.

I had gotten the Minimoog V Original for free a few years back. I used it in a few projects. It is no longer supported and it can't be downloaded from your account.
This one’s different. IIRC Minimoog V Original was given away as they were discontinuing it. This one goes into your account.

Hoping to download it today. Sound great in demos

Here are working links to the last build they did, both 32 and 64 bit.
