I don't know if I clicked on anything that put this in my account cuz I kept getting a timeout, but it showed up in Arturia Software Center, and it activated and installed quickly. I'll def be buying the '3 reverbs you'll actually use' that will eventually be making an appearance.

Seeing as this one is a fairly straightforward Plate, I'm guessing one will be a Hall/Chamber/Room combo and the other will be a Spring. I mean, if these are supposed to be the only reverbs you'll ever use, then that covers all the bases. But who the hell knows.

Well I downloaded the installer thing and finally got it to connect to the server and there was the reverb. So I figured I'd better download and install the VST before I activate it. So I did that and the activation button vanished. I think I was supposed to activate it first. I tried activating it by opening it in Reason but all I'm getting is the spinning wheel and I can't connect to the server any more. Maaaaaan. Wish I'd pushed the activate button first while I had the chance.

Yep...that's the one.
According to the instructions (now why didn't I read them?) you should activate first. I've now managed to get onto the server, clicked the activate button, got a spinning disc for about 5 minutes then got logged out again. Think I'm just going to wait a week.

Instalation went smooth, but slow. I'm not that impressed by the reverb though, so I'm not sure I'll be using it much. I'd rather go for the PSP 2445 or Soundtoys Little Plate over this one, or even Waves Abbey Road Plates....

I'm wary about freebies from Arturia.

I had gotten the Minimoog V Original for free a few years back. I used it in a few projects. It is no longer supported and it can't be downloaded from your account.

Plugin land is absolutely begging for a great Fender spring reverb unit. It's a big hole in the market - I assume because it's very difficult to do well. U-He have had a go but it's more modular synth than surf's up.

It's doubly annoying because the spring reverb in my Fender Princeton is dead. Must get that sorted...
