Nice find! Thanks for sharing. I didn't have a FET compressor, so I'll gladly get this. No idea about their installer but willing to go through the hassle for this. Today impression though: not good, trying to download and the download is not working. 504 gateway timeout.
I think IK Multimedia really screwed up SampleTank 4. I made the mistake of getting that, since I used to love the sound of SampleTank 1. But the sheer # of bugs is just CRAZY. Installing it took hours to download, and then a process of running 20+ steps to manually install. Overall, it was a headache, and I'll never upgrade SampleTank again.
Now TRacks plugins (like the limiter mentioned in this thread) must be driven by a completely separate dev-team. Because they're fantastic, and no-hassle. In-fact, I'd say TRacks is one of those plugins that is sounding BETTER as the years progressed (the overall warmth and ability to make a track louder is better now than in TRacks v1).
Besides being bug-free, the other thing I like about TRacks is it's pretty much the long-lost cousin of Reason: Everything is a hardware paradigm, and it LOOKS like Subtractor So if you like that about Reason, it's a very similar feel.

It finally worked. Sounds like you need to download t racks 5 cs in order to use it. Not great. But I guess it saved me a few bucks not having to buy the waves cla76. Now I just need the ca2a you said will be free again soon, MrFigg...
Haha. Yeah i said it...But i was quoting Cakewalk or whatever they’re called. As I understood it all the at-racks stuff should work as standalone VST as well.PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑11 Dec 2019It finally worked. Sounds like you need to download t racks 5 cs in order to use it. I've had a slow download 1 hour ago, 10 minutes ago it was fast again.
You have to make a account on T-racks, after the download you can install the cshop.
It will install all the vst's from T-tracks, in reason click on the Black 76 and you can activate it with your code and login.
The rest of the vst's are in demo, but you can remove them manually from the installed vst folder e.a. Steinberg vst
The sound is great, love the sustain it gives to your sound.
This one is a keeper for me, definitely wordt trying!
Cheers

Just for clarity... T-racks is a 1.5 GIG download.splitpen wrote: ↑11 Dec 2019I've had a slow download 1 hour ago, 10 minutes ago it was fast again.

So - basically it's an excessive download and install for a 1 free VST. However... yes if you want it - download, install and then delete tons of demo VSTs.
Check my Soundcloud:
Yea, again, thanks. I wouldn't buy it and i would not use it for free under this circumstances. That just commits to my opinion that IKMultimedia heavily sucks.danc wrote: ↑12 Dec 2019Just for clarity... Reason12, Win10
As miscend pointed out though...keep the license and register it on the next group buy. Last group bug you got 11 free VSTs at the same price or lower for registering one product.

Now that I've gotten an 1176, and a la2a , anyone know of a free la3a emulation?
Yea, that might be worth the hassle. They need to pay me for going through their install process

I registered for this but when I saw the file was 1.5 GB I just cancelled it. Don't need it that bad.
Same, that hassle was unnecessary for a free plugin. I just wanted to hear how it compares to NI's version but oh well.
