Enjoy, guys..

That organ sound from Show Me Love is called "Perky Organ" in the DS1 Keys bank by the way..
I used to recreate it with the DX7 sound it's based on but this is way closer to the original.

Now all there is left to say is:

As for those of us (and you) who used the original instruments, is this something worth having? I always made sure to make my libraries small and fast to load but this is made in a different way - sample robot material? Would be nice with actual comments on the sounds.

Hmm I'd say these four maybe has a total of about 18 Mb of ROM waveforms so how that translates to 10 GB is kind of mind boggling... but that's how some companies choose to work

Let me send you a Reason project where I've attemped to create this sound in two ways. I found a video youtube that described how to make the sound and then in a comment how to actually do it and went from there.

The "Show Me Love" organ lead line is one of my favourite sounds too. It's in the free Hollowsun patch bank if you have TAL Sampler.
I might get this just to have it on account somewhere, but 10GB sample libraries isn't really my thing.

Afaik this is a rompler, so each 'patch' in each 'synth' library will have to be a bunch of big wav files, as it isn't synthesizing anything.

Oof, yeah. I'm considering doing the same. I'm finding the patches in this to be extremely hit-or-miss, and there's very little ability to meaningfully customize them.

thanx... saved me some time... saved it to an external disk for a future go... it would really crowd my hard drive down below where I like to keep it a... so I decided to wait on reviews first... oh well... got it if I ever have the room to check it out lol... I was surprised and questioned the size much thinking along the lines of Bitley's ROM comparison. :puf_wink:

I haven't tested the VST yet so no comment on it, but you do realise that 4 TB (or 1TB SSD!) costs about 100 bucks these days...
I used to make music but now I just cry on these forums. @diippii.com

I appreciate the offer but it's probably a blessing in disguise. Last thing I need is more synths. ;3

I just had a quick look into this freebie...Its quite nice, sounds good. Ofc it does not sound modern. Its not very tweakable, because its just a ROMpler and 10GB is heavy...Never had payed 150 for it, even it was probably a big bunch of work to create all that samples, but for a freebie...why not...may use it here and there...

So thanks for the hint!
