With Kushview Element! (https://kushview.net - by the way, their support is great !)
Yes TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. With Element VST, you can add Midi VST like Riffer, Kirnu Cream and so on, and link it to another Vst synth. Element is stable from what I can say of my use.
So it's a way to benefit from midi Vst in Reason, as Element support Sync from Host (you have to switch it to 'EXT' in the Vst interface)
But there's more... If you are on a Mac and have Cherry Voltage Modular (on Mac it works great - but I read somewhere it was running inside Kushview Element on Windows - but I DIDN'T test it), you can build a simple Midi Out device in Voltage Modular to a midi IAC virtual port, and then ... Boom! You can get this midi flow being used by Reason devices.
So you have Midi Vst driving a Reason Synth or RE. Voilà!
Again, using Element is great: it starts, stop and stay in sync with your song if it is set on 'EXT' sync.
There is a sale at the moment for Kushview Element (as well as for Cherry Voltage Modular, by the way - at least at Plugin Boutique) and this workaround is quite easy to use. On a Mac at least (but I suppose it is ok on Windows too)
if someone can confirm Cherry Voltage Modular runs inside Kushview Element in Windows, then, it is great!
(Voltage Modular is great I think, for people who like that kind of things)
Suppose I'd like to use Midi Vst in Reason... To a certain extent I can !

Image Line also has a VST plugin that can host VSTs and route midi between the hosted VSTs - it is free.

Yes. You are absolutely right. And it's free.Boombastix wrote: ↑24 Mar 2019Image Line also has a VST plugin that can host VSTs and route midi between the hosted VSTs - it is free.
The only problem I face is about synchronizing midi Vst to Reason transport with it. Oh, and also some stability troubles with Reason on my config.
When I reread my post, I think it is important I say I'm not affiliated in any way to Kushview or Cherry audio or any other brand as it looks like my post is a kind of advertisement. It's just because I'm happy to have found a way to use midi Vst and I wanted to share my finds.
