Asking for a friend: null test next, between the DX7 and the emulations? My friend is telling me that FM snare would be a good candidate for the test.

Just want to inform ya'll that there are some nice DX7 deals out there if you have patience. I haven't disabled my 'DX7' notifications from the various sites I used to find one, and this morning I came across the most amazing deal and I jumped on it. It's a DX7s in excellent condition, for EIGHTY DOLLARS. Apparently the guy isn't familiar with synths so good for me. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

I didn't want to miss losing out on this so I picked it up today. I was shocked at how perfect it was. The only thing wrong with it is that it has two loose keys, but that's easily fixable. It even came with the DX7s data rom cartridge which by itself sells for $85. The guy thought it was a toy keyboard. I was freaking out on the inside when he showed it to me but played it very cool on the outside, and i took out the $80 and just counted it it out on his hand and left, lol.

So as if that wasn't enough, as i was looking at the DX7s, he told me he was about to to get - and I quote - "a really old synthesizer, I think it's called a MOEG or something, with a lot of buttons, an old guy wants to get rid of it, so if you want it let me know". Stunned silence on my face. Trying not to let him know my thoughts. OMG what do I say? So I said, in a very chill voice "yeah....lemme know when you get it and I'll pick it up".

Today was a good day.
