Hey guys!
I'm thinking of buying the Avenger synth. I make EDM and trance music.
What are your guys experience of this VST?
Is it worth the money?
I also noticed when trying the demo that it is very cpu heavy.
But I want to hear your guys opinions about Avenger.
VPS Avenger
There's a thread on this synth here viewtopic.php?f=48&t=7500643&hilit=vps+avenger

I know a couple of pros who do EDM tracks with the big labels. They LOVE this VI.
I have mixed feelings on Avenger.
On the GUI, I have a 1280x1024 resolution screen, and so I scale Avenger to 70% - for some reason, the text is unreadable and blurry. Other people hit this issue on KVR.
But my main problem with it is on the sound - I feel like it's good, but not something that blows me away. E.g. I just like the sound from Serum and Dune2 better - they seem brighter to me, and pierce through a mix.
It's not just the presets - I've spent hours trying to craft new sounds, and I never get the results that I get with Serum, for example.
Anyway, I think sound is subjective, so maybe it's just me. Try the demo and see for yourself
(Edit - fixed typo)
