Am I right that I can't load samples from Refills into VSTs?

No need to become agitated here, I just paraphrased the wording from https://www.propellerheads.se/developers (And if I recall correctly that "REs are 1st class citizens" is even an actual quote from an early RE promotional video or interview).
I'm still wondering why some people seem to have a problem with accepting the fact, that the technologically inferior VST format cannot be just as tightly and seamlessly integrated into Reason.

Not sure it has anything to do with what format is 1st or 2nd rate. I use Reason as a tool - and my tool should be able to deal with current day ways of working... that being able to drag samples (the most basic of files when making music) into any of the instruments or effects I decide to add into my rack - irrelevant of what format they are.

We can get all upset over one format is better than another. I don't care - I use whatever format provides the best result. And there are 100s of absolutely 1st rate VSTs - which I use every day and they are great.
