My favorite effects right now are FabFilter - they work just perfectly in Reason
And favorite VST instrument in Reason is Reaktor - I can't believe I finally get to use Reaktor in Reason! And it works GREAT, no issues so-far.
The only issue I ran into with VSTs in Reason was with PSP84 Delay - For some reason, when I loaded it and changed delay-time, it didn't seem to adhere to the new delay-time I set. I just gave-up after 3 separate install-attempts.

This can add some really nice thickening without some of the obvious side effects.
Hornet plugins: I use the clms and track utility quite a bit for auditioning dynamics at same level and gain staging respectively.
FabFilter Pro L on every track as master limiter
Acon Verberate on a send track as reverb
Meldaproduction MXXX as creative mutli FX

It's weird - I like SoundToys and also have LittlePlate 5, Little Primal Tap, Little Alter Boy 5, and Sie Q-5 - but I find they act a little buggy in Reason for me. Sie Q-5 seems to crash on me regularly, and I've actually had it take down Reason altogether. Do you find them stable in Reason?

Big fan of all the Sonic Charge stuff! Especially Synplant
Really looking forward to seeing Synplant 2. I know Magnus has put so much time into that project and wants it to be just right.
I'm REALLY enjoying the SWAM string plugins, especially the SWAM Cello.
Carve EQ by Kilohearts is wonderful to work with.
I also enjoy some of the fun (and useful) plugins like Dada Life's Endless Smile
haven't really used Q-5 but the plugins I mentioned run stable in Reason for me (I'm on PC/Win10).EnochLight wrote: ↑17 Feb 2018It's weird - I like SoundToys and also have LittlePlate 5, Little Primal Tap, Little Alter Boy 5, and Sie Q-5 - but I find they act a little buggy in Reason for me. I also find Soundtoys very buggy in Reason.
I read that stopping play before inserting a new plugin reduces crashing, but even so, every time I load a ST plugin there's a few seconds of waiting to see if it loads. I love the sound, but no: they don't play nice with Reason at the moment.
What I do really love:
Dune 2 - so easy on the CPU and sounds fantastic.
T-Racks fx plugins.
Cableguys - for side chain and filtering.
Fabfilter - totally agree. Simplon is also fantastic and easy on CPU.
All Boz plugins are great, do different things to what's in the Reason Rack, and take next to no CPU.

I've really been enjoying these FX units: Cableguys Pancake and Shaperbox. Izotope Vinyl, Softube Amp Rooms, Sonic Charge Purmut8. I would have mentioned U-he Satin, but it has been an absolute killer on my DSP, even with my new i7/8 core CPU.

Shaperbox doesn't work well for me anymore. It takes nearly a minute to load an instance on 10.2. Does anyone else have this?
