VST scan disable?

Most DAWs allow you to select when to run a VST scan (e.g. startup, manual, never, etc.). Every single time I start Reason it scans for VSTs. It's not all of them or that would drive me insane, but it's enough that it is annoying. I don't see a way to specify how to change the scanning behavior in Reason. I would like to disable it after manual scans so that I don't have to wait every time I start it up. I am sorry if the forum has addressed this. I don't see it when I do a search, nor do I find information about this in the manual. Can anyone help shed some light on this?

It was addressed several times here. No 100% solution available. You can check if there are changed files in your vst folder, delete incompatible files like vst3 or 32bit, remove console only VSTs, check the plug in manager in Reason for crashed VSTs and remove them... And in the end, contact PH support and cross your fingers...
