Neutron 2 upgrade on sale for 25% off

Anyone else here have iZotope Neutron and are considering the upgrade to Neutron 2? I was on the fence earlier, but I just got their email blast offering another 25% off of the upgrade, so now it's down to $149 USD. Since I picked up Neutron Advanced earlier in the spring for $259 USD, this would make my total investment $408 USD, which is still over $90 USD less than I would have to spend to buy Advanced today outright.

Anybody else jumping on this?

I had a special offering via mail for a Loyalty Crossgrade from Standard Products. Bought both upgrades from Ozone 8 advanced and Neutron 2 advanced for $400!

I would like to upgrade. But the cpu (I7 3370K 4,2 Ghz) usage is too high for me in Reason. If they can fix this I will pull the trigger.

I'm on a 3770K and mildly overclocking to 4.2 Ghz when needed. It definitely can get a bit CPU hungry, but what I've done is relegated its use to mixdown stage, so I have all of my tracks bounced to audio at that point. I can get quite a few instances when working like that.

That said, I don't expect iZotope to fix CPU use. They rarely address CPU use in maintenance updates, I'm afraid.

Well hell. I just bought it - installed and ready to go. I just disabled Neutron 1 in my plugin manager window to keep things tidy - might end up uninstalling it altogether!

Now, off to do some mixing!
