Please contact info@blamsoft.com if you want to help beta test VK-1 VST. It is compatible with VST2 hosts (such as Reason). You must have macOS 10.11 or newer or Windows XP or newer. Please don't post anything about the beta test in this forum, it is simply an announcement.

VK1 is a lot lighter on CPU.

I see the VK1 as a Moog voyager and the VK2 as the Moog modular..

From the shop

Own VK-1? VK-2 is a unique new synth in the Viking family. Here is what VK-2 offers that is not available in VK-1.

6 voice polyphony
Incredible modular internal routing capabilities
All new cutting edge DSP algorithms
Oscillator linear FM
Notch filter mode
Filter FM
4 voice unison
5 pristine on-board effects
Back connections for almost every signal

I think Blamsoft (and eXode, if he's involved) will do well in VST-land. I thoroughly endorse this product or event. :)

This makes me sort of sad, the Blamsoft RE Synths are some of the best I own RE or VST. I hope this doesn't mean that their RE devices will become an afterthought.

That being said I would buy a cross grade license for Zero and VK2 tomorrow if these were released as VST's. I would love to use these devices in Studio One 3 and bitwig.
