I love Reactor 5 and use it often in Reason as a VST. Should I get 6 to go along with Reason 10, or do I not need it? Is it worth the $49.50 on top of Reason 10, which I am loving?

6 was my first Reaktor and I just bought it for the Blocks. I would totally buy Blocks again for 50$.

I'd buy reaktor again if it was 20$ and not higher than that.

The main selling point is blocks. If you have intent to use them then it may be worth it. If you're not much into modular synthesis and mainly just use the synths that come with it (and Komplete) then maybe not. A lot of the synths and effects in the Reaktor User library are still compatible with Reaktor 5.

Reaktor 6 and softube modular both look good, but I'm not impressed by the sound

I can do similar things inside Reason with the pandas sequencer and with all the cv things you can get very deep

take a look at the PSQ-1684
