Can't Type Into VSTs? Only me?

So I downloaded VSTSpeak3 as a VST. Works as advertised in Ableton, but for whatever reason (drumroll)...Reason won't allow me to type anything into the dialogue box (see attachment - can't type where it says "EXECUTE"). I thought it was just this VST, but recently I downloaded another (Serato Sample) and couldn't activate in Reason because I couldn't type anything into any dialogue boxes (email addy's for example).

I've dug around trying to find an answer to this. When I submitted this as a bug for the 9.5 Beta, I got a weird response from PH, which kinda sounded like they didn't understand the question. haha

Anyone else have issues like this?

That's something you have to enable in the options menu.

Hmmm... I've never had to set that option and actually don't see it. I'm on Mac. Perhaps it's just a Windows thing? Or am I looking right past it?
