Interview with the creator of Absynth: Brian Clevinger
I remember using Absynth before NI bought it - was it not the first synth to use draggable envelopes and drawable LFOs? I remember it blowing my mind and thinking ALL synths needed this feature! So glad to have this powerhouse synth in my Reason Rack these days.

Yes, NI bought it in 2001 IIRC. I had the original version and remember thinking it was way ahead of it's time. Maybe not so ahead as I originally thought (never heard of Angelina before now), but still, ahead by at least a year or two!

Great, glad I could be part of a possible new synthesizer expirience. I was reading about a wrapper for 32 bit VSTs in 64 bit hosts. Could be crazy!!!selig wrote: ↑22 Aug 2017Yes, NI bought it in 2001 IIRC. I had the original version and remember thinking it was way ahead of it's time.
