I love Avenger as a synth. I think Dune 3 sounds better in some cases though.
Avenger's strength is its flexibility.
The GUI IMHO is terrible... i'm always looking around for the controls.

I totally agree. Avenger's GUI/UX is a case of the developer totally missing the plot as far as efficiency and an enjoyable user experience is concerned. I get that it's super deep, but come on, man - it's horribly designed as far as ease of use is concerned! Don't tell the dev that, though - he loves it.
