Hello,
If you are an owner of Podfarm 2.5 running on a Mac and wish for Line6 to create 64bit versions of the VST's so you can run it in the rack without the Image-Line's Minihost Modular AU workaround, then please head over here, sign up and upvote the thread there:

I take it this is only necessary for Mac? The PC version of the Pod Farm VST should work fine with Reason 9.5 straightaway... right?

Only if the PC version is 64-bit. Which, considering how old it is, it may not be.househoppin09 wrote:I take it this is only necessary for Mac? The PC version of the Pod Farm VST should work fine with Reason 9.5 straightaway... right?

The PC version of Pod Farm 2 (2.59) is a 64-bit plugin, and definitely running under Reason 9.5 beta.

That's good to know.JiggeryPokery wrote:The PC version of Pod Farm 2 (2.59) is a 64-bit plugin, and definitely running under Reason 9.5 beta.
Although I think it's a bit odd that a company wouldn't have concurrent PC and Mac bit types.

Upon further looking into this, the Windows version of the VST is indeed 64 bit. The Mac VST version is 32 bit, and the Mac AU version is 64 bit. Weird!
Many Mac users use Logic (which only supports AU), and many other DAWs that support plugins (like Live, Studio One, Reaper, Ardour, Digital Performer), support them in various formats including AU. And those using Pro Tools are using AAX. Thus, there probably hasn't been as big a demand for the VST version for Mac users... Because Mac users can use AU with many popular options.househoppin09 wrote:Upon further looking into this, the Windows version of the VST is indeed 64 bit. I didn't have many other plugins installed on my computer, but the ones I did have I had only installed the AU versions...
In 2019 line6 still 32 bit for mac.
So bad.
So bad.
I think they have abandoned it and have moved on, ala Helix...
