The gold bundle is listed at 70% off. Serious question: Is that "super cheap"?ezelkow1 wrote:every sale they have is their biggest sale ever, waves is constantly on sale both on their own site and from third party sellers. IMHO i dont get any of their stuff anymore unless its super cheap or one of their sale freebies, at this point there are better options and you dont have to pay for their stupid WUP plans to get upgrades
Totally agree.rexbrewer wrote:Considering their quality and most of the plug ins being on sale for $30-60 right now. These ones are a no brainer. Just got their J37 Tape Simulator. It sounds absolutely fantastic. Oh and is on sale from $299 to $69.
Yea I think 70% off on their bundles is probably a good price. Id check some of the other waves sellers like wavesuniverse, usually they will match and then beat waves own sale prices. Also during waves sales you can usually sign up for an extra discount voucher that both waves and resellers will both acceptReasonUser wrote:The gold bundle is listed at 70% off. Whoa boy I'm glad you said that, I was about to go ape doo doo in there. I will not pay for something yearly or monthly unless its a necessity. Well there goes my shopping cart. Im just sticking to RE's. More ways to gouge the consumer.IAMGOD wrote:BUT heres the kicker with Waves which I'm sure some of you don't know about.
When you first purchase Waves plug ins they fail to mention that you'll also have to buy the Waves update plan or whatever its called.
Basically you have to pay them $300 or more, every year to keep the plug ins you purchased updated. (mine was $379 this year)
Ill never buy plug ins from them again.
