Drums mode is excellent, it just lacks brush strokes ...

At first, I read the label on one of the knobs as SNAKE BUZZ and … yeah. That was an interesting couple of moments inside my head.

I got them for $50 USD in a crossgrade promotion earlier this year.

heh, you lucky bas**rd. hehe. i almost envy you. hehe.
but, as i said many times here on RTF: i do not like VSTs in reason since reason has it's own solution - REs, which i prefer and because of installation whateverness.
all VSTs should be c/p-able only and that would then be AMAZING! but(t) since there is always a butt!, sadly enough, this is pain in the ass with installing all VSTs i have - all are FREE of charge obtained and i have a lot of them. eh! schmonks! grrr...

Nice, what else do you like about it? I mean... sound is really all that matters, but I'm curious what you like in terms of functionality vs other options out there.

I like getting down to that level of designing the drum itself. I've always been fascinated by modelling, and I've enjoyed using MODO Bass and the AAS devices for some time. MODO Drum was a welcome addition. I don't even have to make a track with it, sometimes I just crack it open and fiddle with drum design.

Gotcha. I have MODO Bass, really like that. I'll have to dig into MODO Drum a bit more. It does look very interesting.

I wish they'd add an acoustic bass to MODO Bass. So many electric models, well done, but where's the upright?
