Hi,

I'm trying to learn stutter edit, which I know has a great sound.

The plugin has a helpful screen to show you how to trigger it with a midi keyboard, but I'm trying to work out how to record midi notes into the sequencer (on an effect track).

Has anyone managed to get this working, and if not how are you triggering gestures in spots as opposed to having them run all the time?

You right click the VST in the Rack and "Create a track for the device", then you right click the track in the sequencer lane near the image and create "New note lane". Done.
:reason: Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•

Hey

Right click on the stutter edit device and then ‘create track for Stutter Edit’

Select the new track in the sequencer and then create a new Note Lane... enter midi in there.

My golly - as simple as that!

I've only been using Reason for the last 15 years. Still things to learn I guess ;-)
