Since the RV7000 mkII doesn't process sine sweeps, I'm exploring some other options to create IRs. I've been recording some IRs in some really cool places, and want to explore capturing responses as well using the sweep method.

Altiverb, which I hear is great, is a bit out of my price range at the moment. I understand it includes a ton of great quality IRs...maybe one day...

Waves is having a sale, where I could get IR-1 for $24.50...or IR-360 for $29.50. I need to compare the two. But both will process sweeps.

Are there any other plugins out there that anybody might recommend? Or software that can convert sine sweeps to use in RV7000?

The Waves plugins save the processed IRs as .wir files, so would only be able to use and share them for the Waves plugins.

you can also use a dirac audiofile. this is an audio file with all frequencies at the same level. you can do it all in Reason.
