This is normally $199 USD and rarely goes on sale (well, except for a couple of times a year). They listed it as 25% off, but after I added it to my cart and then didn't complete the sale (I started watching various Insight 2 videos), about 10-15 minutes later I got offered another 5% off.

Couldn't resist for almost 30% off, so I bought it. This metering plugin is one of the best out there, and the inter-plugin communication works perfect with Neutron 2, Ozone 8 mix taps.

Check it!

Eh... I'm cool with the first version. I'd rather spend that coin on a plugin that actually does something.

You should have an upgrade offer in your account that’s 50% off. That said, if you have no need to meter and watch your levels for production, I can see how this must not seem like a useful plugin.

The Intelligibility Meter is a nice feature and GUI upgrade is really sharp but not worth an upgrade - not even for a hundred bucks. The first version monitors LUFS just fine. $50 upgrade would be sensible.

Yikes - yeah a $99 USD upgrade cost is too much, IMHO. That's half the cost of the full (regular priced) version! That would be like Props charging $199 USD for major upgrades to Reason. :o  :?

I never owned the first version of Insight. Is the GUI/UX re-sizable?

Ah ok...well I just got mine with Ozone Advanced. It's lovely and must-have for what it does so I can understand the enthusiasm if nobody has metering. Upgrade is kind of a rip off though. Resizable GUI sweetens the $50 deal.

Insight is not included in Ozone 8 Advanced. It was only part of Ozone 7 Advanced.

Funny I thought Insight came with Ozone 8 Advanced. I had a look at my account history and saw that I bought Ozone 7 Advanced in August 2017 (upgrade from Ozone 5 basic) and then upgraded again just a couple months later when they released version 8. I forgot I had version 7 for just a couple months! Lucky me!

Yeah they dropped Insight from Ozone Advanced as of version 8. Was sort of pissed about that - clearly they wanted to diversify it as a standalone module they could sell, but I still feel burned by it.

I wanted Insight, but could never justify the stand-alone price, even on sale. Finally got it when I upgraded to the RX Post Production Suite 3.
