Hi guys,

I can't save nor edit a song and I get the following error:

"reason just recovered from a hardware exception. You can continue running, but we recommend that you save all open songs and restart the application."

Any ideas? : - )

Thanks!

Hardware exceptions (in windows I presume ?) are usually, well, hardware caused...
One of your pieces of hardware caused what's called an exceptional state, which interrupted the thread.
There are several specific hardware exceptions for specific hardware events,
and all depends on several things like the machine state and the circumstances.

To find out which specific exception was thrown you could best check the Event viewer,
and look for errors thrown around that time, normally in the application section, or possibly the system section.

Look there for specific error codes, and if you find them, post them please.
Also I'd report this over at PH in the meantime.

Same issue here - this has come about since I saved files from Desktop (Windows 7) to my Laptop (Windows 10) - worked on the file on my laptop. Now after transferring this file back to Desktop I get the error:

Hardware exception.

Reason just recovered from a hardware exception. You can continue running, but we recommend that you save all open songs and restart the application

Only problem, is upon restart, again I'm unable to save the file.

Any help appreciated..
