Hello user_id=9290,
I see that you are hoping for fixes to R11. I am sorry to inform you that any bugs you are experiencing with R11 will not be fixed for that version. You are on a discontinued product. You can review the long list of fixes in R12 and R13, which includes fixes that have addressed R11 issues. Would you like to know more about upgrading your software to a better version?

I originally upgraded to version 13.2, but now when I download the official version 13.1, I encounter the problem of not being able to open it after installation.

I had the same issue and ultimately uninstalled / reinstalled it completely (this was yesterday, before the fix was released)

Although the issue has been resolved in 13.2.1, I still hope that the official can take it seriously and preferably address the following issues as well. Some have been providing feedback for a long time and are still being resolved.I hope the authorities don't ignore them just because they don't matter.
1.The text display in the Europa modulation head rows is offset. 2.Choosing bypass for the second effector of Kong Pad will result in residual images. 3.Once the Env Gate behind the ECF-42 effector remains connected, the Gate light remains on and will not flashing with the LFO signal change when connected.

I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Which zoom setting are you using in Reason, and if you're on Windows, which zoom setting do you have there?
Can confirm, good find!2.Choosing bypass for the second effector of Kong Pad will result in residual images.
Can confirm this one too!3.Once the Env Gate behind the ECF-42 effector remains connected, the Gate light remains on and will not flashing with the LFO signal change when connected.

In my own experience, this happens on Windows at a zoom level of 100% (with standard dpi).
It doesn't happen on macOS, or at least it didn't in Reason 12. My experience with Reason 13 on macOS is limited.

Eerrr... you seem to be confused. Is your name "Forum Helper"? Because that is who I was referring to.

Dragging things on top of others (eg a Ripley onto a Mimic, or a different synth on top of an existing one in the sequencer) while a track is playing can cause big lag and screen/keyboard freeze with 13.2.1. Was fine with 13.1.

GluhovProd wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025When starting Reason 13.2, everything works fine before opening the browser. In the update, for some reason, it starts scanning folders every time the program is opened, and when scanning, the Reason interface starts to slow down. Not IF the browser is open, but AFTER the browser is opened (even if the browser is closed). As far as I understand, the indexing of folders in the browser is to blame for this. I tried deleting the cache so that Reason could recreate the cache files, but it didn't help. I would have attached the video, but the forum says that the file is too big.
I tried to find out from tech support whether this bug was fixed in the latest update or not. There is no response at the moment. I won't update until I'm sure everything is working properly. By the way, this is the first time ever that the Stable version of the program has any problems.

I updated to 13.2.1 and I'm getting this even when nothing's playing. just dragging a device from the Devices menu/window/whatever gets very laggy. it's way worse on the back of the rack with all the cables showing, but it's pretty laggy in the front too. Yeah yeah, I'll create a ticket

Bothering bonkers behaviour;
1. Patch changes with up/down arrow isn't working any longer.
2. After recording a part badly you can't delete the part with backspace as it then asks if you want to delete the whole channel.
3. Zoom must be available for the rack only.
On the plus side though:
1. Reason is much faster to work with compared to Logic.
2. Reason records midi correctly: logic doesn't. In logic the first event is not quantized which means it is silenced until you Q it or drag it forward just enough.

So today I upgraded my MacBook to Reason 13.2.1. At the end of scanning I now have a couple hundred "* missing files" I can't find a way to delete these en masse, and will have to remove them one by one. What a pain in the @$$. Now I'll have to spend an hour or two getting rid of them. Is there any way to hide them?
On top of that, some of my carefully organized folders not only have duplicates, but are now all over the place. When I try to move them into the proper position alphabetically, it stops me at the bottom of the browser window and I have to restart from there to get to where I need to place the folder.
To be certain, this has been the case since the beginning of Reason 13. You can only go down so far to the bottom before you have to let go, move your folder to the of the browser and start all over again instead of being able to continuously going down the entire range. That is to say from the top of the browser down to however far you need to move a folder or other stuff down. I can't for the life of me understand how this has not been implemented as of yet. When I initially encountered this during getting loads of files, folders and ReFills in the browser it took hours to get everything in the proper positions.

I rebooted to fix another problem and it's playing nice today, but for how long?

Yes, I am using the Windows system. In fact, I have already provided feedback to ReasonStudios on these issues a long time ago. I am not sure why they have not repair them for a long time. Do they think these issues are irrelevant and just keep them unchanged? But no matter what the reason is, I think such issues should also be taken seriously. From the upgrade error of 13.2 this time, it can be seen that ReasonStudios are not very serious about this matter.buddard wrote: ↑27 Mar 2025I can't seem to reproduce this issue. So I have 13.1 installed and I let it run overnight to scan my entire hard drive. If I update to the latest version will It perform another lengthy scan? If that's the case I'll probably sit this one out.
