Audio Latency in Reason 12 – Need Help with Buffer Settings

I’m having trouble with audio latency in Reason 12 while recording MIDI and vocals. I’m using a MacBook Pro (M1, 16GB RAM) and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. My buffer size is set to 512, but the latency is still noticeable.

I’ve updated Reason and my drivers, but the issue persists. Any tips on reducing latency or optimizing performance?

To get less latency you need a smaller buffer size. I usually run Reason at 64, and 32 in other DAWs that allow it (Live, Pro Tools).
