Am using latest Reason 13 on a Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.7.3, connected to a Studiolive 32SX mixer via Gigabit Ethernet cable using AVB network protocol.
Reason can 'see' the mixer as an audio interface, and I can record multitrack audio perfectly from the mixer to Reason - however I cannot send the audio back via the mixer, am routing individual Reason tracks to audio outputs, and can see the level meters in the Reason Hardware interface working, but no signal appears at the mixer.
Is probably something simple I am missing. Anyone else had similar problems?

Make sure all of the outputs are configured as ON in the Audio prefs tab, they sometimes reset to just the first pair being active/on. Option click on any output to quickly assign all outputs.
You can also try USB, which has the same number of I/O if just to confirm everything is setup in Reason correctly.

OK I moved the computer, and used a 1 metre USB cable and all works exactly as it should! Yay!
However my problem is that with my studio setup the mixing desk and computer have to be 5m apart, and I get glitching and dropouts when I use a USB cable longer than 2m. By comparison ethernet cable can be pretty much as long as you like with no deterioration of signal.
So I am still trying to work out why I have this 'one way' network problem, where I can record from Mixer to Mac, but not play back on any channels in the other direction.

Hi Rocker! I would give my opinion that You need to make sure that Logic Pro is set up to send audio signal via AVB protocol?Rocker wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025Am using latest Reason 13 on a Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.7.3, connected to a Studiolive 32SX mixer via Gigabit Ethernet cable using AVB network protocol.

Agreeing with @JavonteFisher here. I don't see how the Mac is using the AVB network. That type of communication is normally between Presonus hardware like the 32SX and their various stageboxes and racks.
