Do you get 20 reward points for upgrading from 12 to 13?

The official answer says no, but some forum posts are saying yes. Can anyone confirm? 20 reward points plus the sales is probably enough to make upgrading worthwhile for me, since it means I'd get V13 + Algoritm for roughly $90 (I have 5 points already).

Bonus question: if you do get reward points, do you still get them if you use JRRShop for the upgrade?

I have received 20 point each time I upgraded (10 to 11, then 11 to 12)

I bought an upgrade code from someone off of ebay, a few years back and received the 20 points upon registering it.
So probably authorised reseller codes work as well.
