Reason Browser

Hey guys. Anyone here who can help. Driving me insane

So ... I drag a ReFill either into "shortcuts" or "favorites" and the ReFill appears (the name)

Then I click on the ReFill and nothing appears. Tried to have my refills both in "shortcuts" and "favorites" (doesn't matter - same thing)

Why is this happening? It's for every ReFill I own ? Can't open anything. Doesn't matter if I click on "All types", "Effect Patches", "Instrument Patches" etc. NOTHING

Give it some time it might to have been indexed first.

Thanks for the answer. Is waiting 45 minutes enough? My computer is very good as well so I don't know why it takes so long to index one ReFill ... but who knows, maybe it's a huge proccess. Just weird.

This happens when you have the refills in two places on the same disk.

I think Bitley is right here. I can't get the Browser to do its 'cool' thing on my ReFills because I have the packed ReFill and of course my working files on the same machine and Reason decides that is a good reason to either show both or none. I can find them with the Tree mode but the while thing is a bit of a PITA right now. Clever idea but a bit "do it my way or else" which is hard to love.

I'm not understanding this Benedict. I only have a ReFill in my ReFill folder. Isn't that the packed ReFill? What are the "working files"? Sorry for my stupid answers.

It was happen to me (reason 13 and windows 10).

The solution is (from reason support):

"We could try rebuild the index files (which contains what you will see in the browser) and see if it resolves the issue.

Try delete the " _ReasonIndex_v[5/6/7]dat" files, then restart Reason. Now, are you then getting the expected results when browsing (after giving Reason some time to re-index)?

%localappdata%\Propellerhead Software\Reason"

The problem I had one day was that Reason found two versions of the same refill on one disk and none of them would open in the program. But Reason warned me when I opened it so I deleted one of the files, restarted the program and this solved the issue I had, yours seem different and more likely solved with the fix above.
