Typical Black Friday discount past years for Reason Studios RE was 50%, was it?
This time it looks more like 40%.

For anyone interested you cannot buy the Soul School BF bundle with a rewards voucher, you'd have to buy them both separately and then apply the voucher. Just had this confirmed by support.
Is either one thought to be superior or are they both quite similar?

Any opinions on Pink Noise Deep Flight?
Wouldn't mind a few Roland D50 sounds but not enough to shell out for the Roland plugin and 9 quid in the sale seems a no brainer.

Do it man. By the way, no regrets on the JP Harpsichord.Tiny Montgomery wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024Thanks Figg. Yeah I assumed it would be, I have Maia and PN is obviously well respected round here. I think for 9 quid i probably will!

I bought that some time ago and your post today reminded me, might break it out tomorrow! Copped the hump this evening after nearly getting run over walking home from the office so I've postponed all the BF fun until tomorrow, WFH thank the Lord. And its payday.MrFigg wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024Do it man. By the way, no regrets on the JP Harpsichord.Tiny Montgomery wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024

I have all the Pink Noise instruments and love them. So for $12 CAD it was a no-brainer and I bought DeepFlight today. I've been playing with it all afternoon.

I got mine
* RX 1200 sampler
* Basilimus drum synth
* mDSQ drum sequencer
* Ekss MBEQ graphic equaliser
That's the lot. Was going to pick up Luna because I've had my eye on it for ages, but after going hog wild on the Arturia sale I can't justify another synth purchase

So far so good. There are a huge variety of presets and I love the Template section a lot.Tiny Montgomery wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024Tell me more, what did you think of the presets?StephenHutchinson wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024I have all the Pink Noise instruments and love them. I'm using Reason 13 and one of the things that I've found over and over again is that when you choose a particular instrument, such as an NN-XT, odds are, if you have a lot of ReFills and/or Sound Packs various patches will wind up in a huge dropdown list. I've made a short video (no sound) showing all the presets and also the dropdown menus (in this case the NN-XT) which are extensive enough to keep you busy for ages. You could also substitute another instrument using these templates.
You can download the video from the Dropbox link below.

I only picked up one RE, but it's a goodun.

The C501 Compressor module on it is worth the price alone. Sounds so good in parallel.

Is there a clipper RE you all recommend? I have a limiter but want to explore the clipper approach as well. And I prefer a quality RE over VST.
