Reason+ Annual for Students

My R+ just expired. My last payment was $99 for the annual, I think it was a sale at that time, but now it's $199, but I see the student annual on some sites like swetwater is $99. After you buy it do they check your student credentials? I'm not enrolled in a college but I take some college level classes on edx.org if that counts but I doubt that would pass through if this particular license actually has some college authentication process

thanks, guess I'll wait for next sale or BF sale. i would use my R11 suite but it doesn't have vst3 support. maybe i can find an r12 license to buy as I'm not interested in r13
