As we thought with all the 100 vouchers issued to early adopters, Reason 13 upgrade is on sale.
It hasn't updated yet in the Reason shop in my region but JRRshop has it for $119.40 which is 40% off. It is also automatically reduced to $107.46 when added to your cart.

Ref JRRSHOP: Use the code GROUP in your cart and you can get it for about ~$100

Sad for me, still very expensive even on sale. I guess I'll wait for black friday or 14, who knows. I'd upgrade for $60, but we know that's not happening.

I never use my virtual cash when it's a plugin that's not too expensive (that's about 2 years or more of unused virtual cash)wayford wrote: ↑02 Sep 202458 in virtual cash...you're buying a lot of pluginsKilsane wrote: ↑02 Sep 2024https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... eason-1-12

Potentially worth it if they add an option to chose between 'old browser' Reason and 'floaty window/missing faves' Reason.

Hehe I do the same, saving it, am at 39 pounds now as for some reason from Australia the site always goes back to pounds. Will get something good with it when the time comes, but it expires in 18 months, so has to be before then. Even though I have made a couple new purchases, the expiry date hasn't changed, so they must do it in blocks and then start again, something like that.

Well, also got version 13, but I guess, as long as the favorites in the browser are not back, I get frustrated searching for the devices, which in Reason 12 are all nicely categorized.
Hope this functionality comes back soon. Otherwise, maybe better for now to start projects in R12 ...
But 12 really got a lot of stuff during its lifecycle, so, there is hope that 13 will improve.

Can anyone try using Reward points on the upgrade? I know that there is the reward shop and the upgrades are not there, but just in case. There's still the "enter promo code/voucher here" space in the cart when I add the R13 upgrade.

Still not worth it with that browser. They will not get a dime from me until they fix it!

Browser is awful for me. What are the main excuses for it? I forgot it.

Having updated - I must say, Polytone is quite disappointing - no CV outputs at all and limited amount of CV inputs.
The new tools are nice.

What is considered an early adopter of R13? Pretty sure I bought it within a week. No vouchers here. Bummer about the sale but that is how these things go. 100 notes would be nice for a new RE though.phobic wrote: ↑02 Sep 2024As we thought with all the 100 vouchers issued to early adopters, Reason 13 upgrade is on sale.

To be perfectly honest with you, I'm not sure what the criteria was / is as I haven't received a voucher either. Maybe someone on the original subject thread can help?Toki wrote: ↑02 Sep 2024What is considered an early adopter of R13? Pretty sure I bought it within a week. No vouchers here. That's a very interesting question, not sure if RS would answer it, although might be a good idea to send them an email.
I would guess they assign dates to serials or something along those lines. Otherwise, that would be pretty cool, I think people do that with Bitwig licenses.

Interesting approach.
There isn't much in R13 for me, but I still want to support Reason SW and the creative gang working there.

Anyone else experience a delay in the upgrade license when bought in Jrrshop?

I think it is based on date of purchase, but I could be wrong.

Yes, to jrr delay here as well (not worried at the moment as they have been solid in past dealings)

I bought it earlier today and got it instantly. That said this is the first sale on the perpetual version so perhaps a spike in sales means jrr shop are awaiting more licences (this happened on release day too as jrr was the cheapest place to upgrade).
Jrr are rock solid though so sure unkle Eric will have the codes sent out ASAP.
