Issue with parallel outs changing name of tracks to "mixer channel"

Been having a strange thing happen in reason. Lets say i create a Kong for a kick drum and then output the parallel to a bass track, done hundreds of times without this issue, but once I plug in the parallel outs the Kong track changes from Kong 1 to Mix Channel and on the sequencer it shows two tracks and both tracks for the kong both route to one channel strip. It makes no sense and its never happened before until last week. Its annoying as hell.. and even though it changes the track name and adds a sequencer track playback is perfectly fine as the changes seem not to affect the signal path..

Anyone else have this happen?

I need more information - what do you mean "output the parallel to a bass track"? Can you show a screen shot?
I was going to try to replicate but got stuck on that first line…but normally the only way to create a sequencer track is to add a device that supports it or to add it manually.
