“Time for livestream

The Reason Studios crew has brought the party to Los Angeles for an evening of hanging out, celebrating our 30th anniversary, and being inspired by some special guests.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 9 at 8 PM PT / 5 AM CET. Hosted by Ryan Harlin, it's a stream you won't want to miss!”

Could this be a R13 launch party also????? I hope so.

Wasn't the first product Recycle? Perfect time for updating it to version 3! (there was a rumor that something is happening with Recycle...)

I mean, it even says: "We’ll have drinks on hand but it’s a BYOB party for everyone at home: Bring Your Own Beats! Join us!"

= Bring your own beats to Recycle!

At least we might see a 30-year anniversary sale event, like a week or so, with stunning discounts?

It looks like the Mod Matrix and Reverb from Europa, although I'm not sure why it looks so blue. The thing on the left is Friktion and it looks the same colour as that.

Maybe the next version will be called Reason 30, thus avoiding the unlucky 13 tag.
Image Line did a similar thing with FL Studio.

Wow, 30 years ago I helped review the release of ReCycle for Electronic Musician, and I got the license (and the job) because I had Sample Cell and a Mac computer and the other writer didn’t. So technically I didn’t purchase it, but I’ve been on the “Prop/RS” train for the entire ride even though I didn’t get into Reason until 2003. Never thought I’d still be writing about these things 30 years later…

Yes it’s Europa.

4am UK time. I get the feeling I'll either be there for the start or there for the end, not both.
@pushedbutton on twitter, add me, send me a message, but don't try to sell me stuff cos I'm skint.
Using Reason since version 3 and still never finished a song.

There must be a new version of Reason coming out it would be bad business not to take advantage of this opportunity plus they need to wash off the stench of Reason 12 two year buggy releases & counting...

It would be cool if they called this next version Reason 3D(3 Decades) and included Recycle and Rebirth.

Ok, I’ll let you all know when I wake up from my fantasy world

Given the decision to stream at USA prime time I'm now wondering what proportion of Reason sales are on that side of the pond. I'd always assumed, for no good reason, that the biggest market for Reason would be Europe.

Have we ever seen any breakdown of sales/users vs territories?

Funny I had seen this, but can't access the report without purchasing it or requesting a sample...

https://medium.com/@pallavikharatusd/mu ... 428b1b4cf6

Interesting that they are listed as a top player in the market and still referred to as Propellerhead. Cakewalk is also on that list ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess the study does go back to 2018...
Top Players in the Market are: Cakewalk Inc., Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, FL Studio, MOTU Inc, Avid Technology Inc, PreSonus Audio Electronics, Inc, Ableton AG, Propellerhead Software AB, Apple Inc, Cockos Incorporated

it's a nighttime evening, I think that there is no choice to broadcast it in the morning for us, otherwise it will have to be a birthday treat to broadcast at times suitable for us from the old continent
