Is a patch needed for Combinator 2?

I have just upgraded to Reason 12 and I am having some trouble with the new Combinator 2 device. I don't understand how to use the new features, such as the drag and drop, the patch browser, the macro controls, and the modulation matrix. Do I need to download any patches or presets?

Step 1. Create a Combinator
Step 2. Put a device inside.
Step 3. Click "Editor" on the Combi (next to the "Devices" button)
Step 4. Click "Configure"
Step 5. You may now drag and drop the different elements.
