companion app freezing/hanging - won't load?

Hi all,
Don't know what to do, as I can't update my RE's (just bought objekt) and the companion app simply shows loading circle going round and round...
I've updated the companion app, to the latest + restarted my computer, tried loading it from reason, but no joy.
reason still loads fine, but no new REs..
Any other ideas most welcome!

Solved.

after a "quit + log out" I redownloaded the companion app and could log in.
