BAD FORMAT ERROR MESSAGE

I inadvertently lost a bunch of Reason song files (deleted AND emptied!). Using Stellar Data Recovery software, I got all the files back. However, some of the Reason song files won't load. The error message is
'The file "XYZ" has a bad format and cannot be loaded'. Does anybody have a fix for this please?
