A very simple question... Can you view or bring up the instrument/utility/FX of any track you select from the Sequencer view in FULL SCREEN?
For example: I'm working in sequencer mode full screen (I cannot see the rack) I have 20 tracks, I select an audio track, there are 3 FX devices inserted into that track, how can I know what FX they are and view/bring them up?
Note I’m still on Reason 8, but if you can do it in 12, I would like to know.
How to view a tracks instrument or FX from the sequencer window in full screen?

In Reason 8 double clicking the icon does nothing in full screen mode. When the sequencer is HALF visible with the rack above yea of course it will scroll/show the device, but that's not my question. I want to know if its possible in FULL SCREEN MODE?

NO, EXCEPT YOU DETACH THE RACK.atribecallednet wrote: ↑15 Nov 2023In Reason 8 double clicking the icon does nothing in full screen mode. This would be a great idea for a new feature, a quick link to Mix Channel inserts from the Sequencer View. Unfortunately it would only work for audio tracks in the sequencer, since MIDI tracks won't always have a Mix Channel that appears in the sequencer (unless you add it to the sequencer to add automation etc).
IMO this goes back to how audio was added to Reason, since it was originally MIDI only up until Record was introduced. This is how we got things like two sets of Mute/Solo buttons, and automation for audio being a part of the audio track but automation for MIDI not being on the MIDI track, etc.

If you've detached the rack then full screen mode is going to work (on a single monitor setup). I have two monitors, with one dedicated to the rack (in portrait mode) so I can full screen the mixer/sequencer on the other. You really can't detach the rack window in a single monitor full screen mode especially if you want to keep fiddling with device settings in the rack.atribecallednet wrote: ↑15 Nov 2023In Reason 8 double clicking the icon does nothing in full screen mode. (If you're on a Mac - Apple has made the situation worse by moving full screen windows to a different virtual screen meaning the old rack window has been left on a different screen which is why, perhaps Reason is trying to bring it forward, but it's on the wrong screen).
In any event a compromise has to be made somewhere either: stop detaching the rack, or get a second monitor.
Side rant, it's annoying that the Rack in Reason can't be put on the side of the Sequencer / Mixer (which is the logical place for it to be in attached mode because it could then use the full height of the screen while still having the sequencer and mixer usable.)
