Hello all! Is Mimic Multitimbral?
In other words can each slot occupy their own MID lane?
If not is there a workaround other than another the required amount of mimics?
Thanks!

Is Mimic Multitimbral?

In MultiPitch mode, you can split the keyboard into zones, one zone for each Slot. In this way, you can sort of get multi-timbral behaviour.
But no, Mimic isn't multi-timbral in the way you want (multiple MIDI channels). Multi-timbral MIDI is non-existent in Reason because, except for the MIDI Out Device, Reason has no clue what a MIDI channel is. Users of Kontakt curse this limitation often.

@huggermugger Ahh thats pretty neat, thanks!
I also noticed on the back of Mimic it has 8 "Slot Out" jacks.
Perhaps a great was to capture the audio performance, not so much the MIDI.
I will experiment a bit an report back....

...Maybe use MultiPitch mode, keyboard into zones, then 'extract notes to lane' in tools windows???
