Now that Rewire has been killed... how do we sync Reason with other daws? In particular Logic Pro?

I've tried IAC drive bus... logic pro virtual out... Ableton link.... Nothing is working, and there isn't much information online.

Yes reason is now available as a VST. Thing is a lot of our project files are written and arranged in reason itself, where we now want to arrange using a more full fledged door to sync with video.... but just found out that feature is pretty much dead with the latest version. Cool. Another reminder of how bad backwards compatibility is with reason.

Ok I figured out a bare bones way of doing this:

Logic - Synchronisation Settings -> add IAC Driver to destination -> check "clock".
Reason - Sync Mode -> Midi Clock

It works, but is basic, can only control through Logic, not vice versa. And audio is coming through Reason, not routed into Logic.

The intended way now is to use Reason as a VST plugin in the other DAW (one instance per sound/FX). There's also Ableton Link as time sync protocol in case your other DAW supports it.

Yes, Reason is a VST now. This is the only thing that keeps coming up when trying to find a solve.

Issue is, a lot of projects were written and arranged in Reason. Now all those reason files are what, useless? Now should we not use reason as a DAW? In a professional setting, rewire is what glued Reason to the rest of the industry. Massive oversight from propellerheads.
