Reason does not support this version of windows

Im trying to install Reason 12(build 1261 d72 stable 710)On my laptop.
It says reason doesn't support this version of windows.
The laptop has windows 10 pro 64bit on it.
Why is this happening?

Anyway, trying to reinstall windows, could be some problem with the installation...

I'm running Windows 10 that hasn't been updated in at least 3 or 4 years. Reason 12 updates install without any problems.

Well, my laptop had some hardware errors etc, gave it to an engineer, he fixed it and installed windows.
But just to be sure, i DLed windows myself and installed it fresh again.
Hopefully it should work now, will post here, if it still throws an error or installs correctly

Its running on the laptop.

It was that engineer's version of windows that he installed most probably.
Its good that i installed windows again.
In fact, reason website had started throwing captchas at me, multiple times, most probably because that windows version has some issues, i don't know...
Thankfully its not doing it now.
All is well in reason land.

Well...its india, probably he installed some pirated windows...even though I told him to install a fresh copy of windows and that I will license it myself later, I doubt he did that but regardless something wasn't ok with it...any case I downloaded windows from MS, installed it again... Then it was fine.
Bought another laptop later anyway, because the performance of the old one was not that great.
Now it's all good.
