Hi All,
I've got a situation with my Reason set up where pretty regularly I get the message "Your Audio Driver Has Stopped Working" and then I have to go into preferences, select another option and re-select my regular driver to keep going. This is new since I upgraded my system a little while ago. My current set up is:
Reason 12.5 -> Universal Audio Apollo Firewire with TB adaptor card via TB into Mac Studio M1 Ultra
Has anyone had this issue regularly with a similar set up and/or know what might be causing this?
Thanks!

Most likely caused by a flakey firewire connection. What Thunderbolt adapter are you using? There's a strong possibility that's the culprit.

Hi! Thanks for the response. It's the FW -> TB adaptor for the UAD Firewire Apollo that slots into the port for this in the back. I think that the only 1 you can use?

Also - if that was the case wouldn't it be causing problems for all audio not just Reason? Everything else works fine. Thanks!

I assume you've done all of this right? - https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articl ... ility-Info
I'm not sure if it would not work at all without completing those steps or possibly be very flakey.
