[SOLVED] automation turning itself off

weird problem that just occured: i have a modwheel automation lane reason 11, grain) and it just turns itself off after it ran some seconds, apprently at random. the green "automation override" lamp lights up and the automation doesnt play anymore. i'm sure i'm not touching any controllers or anything. this never happened before, does anyone know the problem or can share insight? thank you a lot!

The cause is most likely your controller sending modwheel data. To check if this is the case: unplug it and the problem should disappear. This can happen when the modwheel is dusty or worn out.

i turned the modwheel to another position and it's gone, so that was probably it. thank you!
