Hello all

Apologies in advance for what is probably a basic question.

Is there a means in Reason of sending one audio track within a song out to an interface, then through an effect such as delay, and then simultaneously recording the resulting track + effect back into another (new) track within the song? I don't know of anything in the manual of my (now old) Reason version that mentions this, but I might not be using the correct terms. Any help appreciated.

If your interface has additional channels then you can activate those in the preferences and route the audio in the rack from the back of the hardware interface device. To record the audio that is coming back from the external hardware you can either connect the sampling input or simply assign the corresponding input channel to a new audio track.

Thank you, jam-s.

I also found this old video, which I'd completely forgotten about.
