I noticed just three days ago, it hit 900k!

And now it is at 950k!!!!

Great work by Ryan and the team!! 1 million views is very close.

Now I'm hoping they still have the world's biggest drum machine so they can make a video with it and Chord Sequencer! ;)

I'm also curious why that video doesn't have more views than it does.

Always good to see numbers like that to do with RS.

I think we need occasional 'throwback' threads where we take a look at great things that get almost lost in the deep abyss after a year or two. Things like The World's Biggest Drum Machine video, it's pretty spectacular yet buried right down in there. Even better we could take a look at great tutorials of the past, great REs released a while ago, great Reason features (they should all be pretty old by now : ). Anything good that is Reason related that has been out of the loop for some time could really use a dedicated thread, a lot of people may not know about it, may have never seen it, or may have forgotten etc. I made a thread on Zvork's Volt SL-1 CV device recently and it had the effect of reminding some it existed and opening others up to the idea of using it, and it's a friggen excellent device. I'll try do some myself, would be great to see others doing it too. :)

Wow, is that an actual Refill? Never ever seen it in the Shop. Or is it some April fools video? I want this refill!
I miss these hilarious videos back in the day…

I haven't seen them mentioned here, but the new tutorials with Carl Carlsson are both funny and informative. Plus they feature the standalone daw, that should make a lot of the forum guys happy, but... (crickets)

Haha… for a minute I thought I missed out on a Hypersampled studio session Accordionist 😅
Guess it was a mock of their Reason Piano video about the picky pianist perfection type.
Still very glad I am old enough to have gotten the Abbey Road keys refill.

Me too. I didn't realize the effect gets retriggered for each clip like that. Very useful to know.

Agree with Phillip here and Billy about the Carlsson content.

Tried the reverb trick in my current track yesterday using the synapse deep verb re and loved the results.

Sucks that my USB keyboard has more latency than the worlds biggest drum machine.

That's a pretty cool video and project Reason has. I agree with Joey, it should have more views.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

My regret was not to buy any of the old school merch. I hope that giant Kong hardware is not rotting away in a hangar in Area 51. It should be cherished.

Congrats to RS!

Some Grade A shenanigans going on here with the PingPong Chord Sequencer video.
This Is Insane Player Device has more views than the Reason 12 Update from a year ago, at 212, 000 views lol.

Well I guess for starters, when many people see a new release announcement, they may be likely to go straight to the site and see a breakdown of new features. They watch parts of a video and go ask questions and talk about it on Facebook and wherever.

But also, this particular video appeals to more than just Reason users. It's about chords, it has a couple pretty notable names, it's an attention grabber with a fun and unique concept, and a screenshot with a quote that says, "this is insane" 😂

And like any popular video on YouTube, more and more people are watching it probably through shares or whatever algorithm suggesting it to more people.

I'm still more confused why the world's largest drum machine video doesn't have more views. Did YouTube not always have a view count? That video should appeal to anybody making music.

The ping pong video is now at 996k views!

I cant wait to see their "Reason 13 ping pong" marketing video.

My guess: The title and thumbnail of the huge kong video do not exploit the click-bait formula and the algorithm worked different back then.
